We are leaders in the field of specialist and secure young person escorting in the country.
We currently provide services for over 100 different local authorities and secure units nationwide. The aim of our service is to make the job of transporting young people as easy as possible for the social workers, and as relaxed and enjoyable as possible for the young person.

Our escort teams can undertake any form of escorting, from babies attending contact visits, to school runs, to secure jobs to the Central Criminal Court or YOI’s. We can provide a driver only or a driver and any number of escorts (although two escorts is usually sufficient for secure transport). We provide multi gender and multi racial teams.

All our staff are fully vetted through the Criminal Records Bureau, and are fully trained in Anger Management, Conflict Management, Communication Skills, Control & Restraint and First Aid. They all undertake a three month probationary period, where various forms of on the job training is given. All the training provided follows the guidelines set out in the Custodial Care Standards Literature.

Our emphasis is on relationship building; treating every young person with the respect and dignity they deserve, regardless of circumstance. The escort service is fully operational twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, and we can usually meet every request - no matter how obscure or unusual!.

Our insurance offers the highest protection in the business. We have £10 million Public Liability and £10 million Employers Liability Insurance. We aim to provide a Quality Service and are ISO 9002 registered. We also participate in the BENCHMARQ Customer Satisfaction Survey, where we were awarded a Silver award for customer satisfaction.
We have a full complaints procedure, and will actively seek feedback from all service users, including the young people.
Specialist Vehicles

All the general escorting duties are carried out in estate type cars (as pictured above). We can however offer specialist vehicles to cater for all your escorting requirements.

We can provide MPV’s and people carriers that provide additional space and comfort for the longer journeys. Alternatively they can be used when a number of siblings have to be transported to contact visits, or when a young person is moving placements, and needs extra room for their stereo!

Our secure minibuses used for transporting mental health patients (see page entitled Secure Patient Transport for picture) can also be used at the request of the social worker. The secure area of the minibus is particularly useful when the young person is a persistent absconder, or is known to be very violent. The secure area ensures that the young person cannot harm themselves, or any of the escorts, as well as ensuring there is no possibility that they can abscond.
